Elizabeth H. - Overland Park, KS.

This program is a great foundation, very concise and thorough. I really feel like teaching meteorology/weather should be alive not just in a book, but brought to life through the senses and I really believe you have done an excellent job bringing it to life for students.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Mike Thompson

Started his meteorological career in the US NAVY as a weather observer and forecaster aboard an aircraft carrier. He then went on to a nearly 40-year career as a Chief Meteorologist at five different television stations, including both the FOX and CBS affiliates in Oklahoma City, NBC in Charlotte, and CBS and FOX affiliates in Kansas City. Mike holds 6 Emmys for writing and producing an outdoor weather show for the Kansas City Royals called School Day at the "K". He holds a Guinness Book World Record for that 20-year production. Mike is excited to share his extensive weather and forecasting knowledge with your student!
